The NWS lists the “official” high as 84° at Bush, but they were missing all of the 5-min obsverations. Sure enough, the Daily Climate Report page shows the low and high occurring right on the hour, so the actual high was probably closer to 86° in-between hours. We’ll never know. Bush Airport has had intermittent missing data since around October 9th but this is the first time I’ve seen it affect official temperature logs. I told the NWS about the issue a couple weeks ago but they didn’t respond.
