I want to use this category to let folks know about bugs found in the app.
There are a couple of issues with the Android version. One is universal, the other appears to only happen on some phones.
In the first issue, the Android version is not able to zoom on images in the daily posts. This appears to be universal across all handsets and Android versions. The workaround: Tap the browser icon in the upper right corner of the post you’re reading and it will open the post in the web version. There, you can zoom to your heart’s content.
In the second, scrolling stops working on the home screen in some cases when you scroll down and reach the area of the display that holds the images and story summaries. If your finger falls in this area, the display doesn’t move. I could duplicate it on a Pixel 10 running Android 16, but not in a OnePlus 13 with Android 15. I also could not duplicate it on a Pixel 6 Pro running Android 16. The original report came from a user with a Pixel 7 running Android 16. The workaround: Move your finger to a different part of the screen to continue scrolling.
Both have been reported to our developer. We’ll look at fixes in an future update.
