This will be Houston's coldest night for how long?

January 12. Our winters keep coming late and then strong but short lived.

My vote is November 15th. Just cooling off in time for the Renaissance festival to be nice before the end of it.

December 9, 2026, is my guess.

Prediction (Wild Guess): The temperature will not meet or fall below 33 degrees at IAH until December 18, 2026.

Growing up in the Midwest, that was normal. I remember my wife and I were at a music festival where we were camping and it was in July and hot during the day, last concert of the night, a front came through, it started pouring and it was about mid 40s overnight and damp. That was the worst experience in a tent I’d EVER had.
